Kizuna Taiko is a Japanese drumming group based on the Gold Coast, Queensland. We use traditional drums called ‘wadaiko’ or ‘taiko’ to create powerful music that invigorates and energises crowds. Our music includes a handful of traditional scores used for hundreds of years within Japan, as well as contemporary music specifically created for Kizuna by skilled composers.
We regularly host interactive workshops and perform at community events across SEQ and Northern NSW. We cater to all event sizes, ranging from intimate performances at weddings or private events, to popular festivals and sporting events with hundreds or even thousands of onlookers!

Community events are our forte! We are well known within cultural circles and often perform at SEQ and northern NSW events, such as festivals or openings.
Some of our regular annual events include Southport and Sunnybank's Lunar New Year Festival, multicultural days across the Gold Coast, the Gold Coast's Harmony Festival, as well as Japan and Friends Day.
Whatever the occasion, we bring a sense of energy, fun and power to the stage!
